I am playing both sides of this.  Chris Rock definitely went too far and do we
really need to have more comedians hosting these shows?  Will Smith was
laughing until he saw his wife scowl; that's when he reacted.  I feel that if
she never did anything, he would've just left it.  It would've been better if
he would've just yelled something at Chris instead of gone up on stage and
slapped him.  Assault doesn't look good and even if Chris doesn't request
charges to be made against Will, ultimately, the court of public opinion has
already been made.
