Maybe not. Maybe you want to be left alone for a while.

Besides, having electricity does not mean having comms. Maybe you have enough
tech on you to listen to your music collection but not to send a radio signal.

I don't know about you, but I think the thought experiment is stetching beyond
suspension of disbelief at such point...
