That is a different point though, the original point dealing with the Wonder Years I strongly disagree with. Redoing the wonder years in the same year with a white cast would have been uninteresting. Move the year to the 90's or using a black cast shows a whole new perspective. I saw the actor that plays the new "Kevin Arnold" and he was in tears talking about how excited he was to play a positive black role and that experience.
