That said, fuel has always been more expensive in Europe (and Canada, for that matter). What percentage increase is the 2.40 USD for diesel? Here, gasoline is over 4.00/gal USD, while diesel is close to 6.00/gal USD. Not sure about diesel, but that is a 2X+ increase for gasoline here.
