After the Sandy Hook mass shooting, any possible incident was sure to make the news, except for the shooting in New Orleans where 19 participants of a Mother's Day parade were shot and wounded. The two shooters were young black males, and shot at the parade as part of a gang initiation. The rival gang had members marching in the parade with their mothers.
