I was told by a manager at a placed I worked that despite him knowing who the best candidate was, they leaned on him to hire based on 'diversity'. These practises are the clearest examples of literal racism and sexism you can find. Having bad things to say about a particular race or gender may be crude, impolite, mean, but these companies are quite literally ranking people on race and making decisions that affect peoples lives on these attributes. A "racist ranter" on a train has less impact. --- MultiMail/Linux v0.52 þ Synchronet þ MS & RD BBs - bbs.mozysswamp.org .
