You are taking it as a 'given' that we must become melting pots, and the issue is whether we do this succesfully or not. My argument is that the creation of the melting pot IS a moral hazard, regardless of whether it is done "successfully" or not. What %ge does the white population need to drop to, in order for it be acceptable to change immigration policy so that it doesn't drop further?
