Yes, and you also cannot blame people that, while believing it is an issue
don't want to be forced from the current tech until the new tech is fully
ready (and affordable!), vote for a populist who promises to solve the
runaway inflation that is partially caused by the "pain we need to go
through" to transition away from fossil fuels.
