In the second season of the Mandalorian they de-aged Mark Hammill to play the
younger Luke.  His facial geometry changed since then, so it wasn't perfect. 
In the Book of Boba Fett they used a stand in and deepfaked his face, and
used a special voice changing AI to match his younger voice.  The fake looked
better than the original.
