That all depends. Let's just say you have an "Express Bus" that takes you from your home to downtown, it is high quality, comfortable, with minimal stops, and costs $200 per month, would you take it? If your answer is no, you are part of the problem. If you calculate the costs of fuel and parking, anything over $200/mo is wasting your money if you choose to not take public transportation. > Do you realize how many filthy people use it? it's disgusting to ride pubic > Trains and Buses, they're usually filthy as hell. Cooties. I get it. > Yes it is toatally wrong for you not to care about the price of gas. We are all a captive audience when it comes to the cost of fuel. We can sit around, complain about it, blame those who have zero control over how much a gallon costs at the pump, or we can just go on with our day. > Our ecconomy is largely based on fossil fuels, so why don't you move to > Europe if you dont care about fuel prices? 100% agree, we are all dependant upon fossil fuels. If it wasn't for those, we wouldn't get deliveries to the stores. Move to Europe? Where the public transportation system is superior to the US? Wow, great argument. I've considered it in the past. I'll have to avoid the cooties, but that shouldn't be too difficult. In all reality, my choice of where to live is largely based upon a plethora of factors, one of them is not how much a gallon of gasoline costs.
