My car is a relatively small car, but its fuel economy isn't quite as good as one might expect.  It has a 2.5-liter 5-cylinder engine, and it generates decent power (which I like), but usually it averages about 19mpg in the city (I've seen it get about about 32mpg on the highway).  It seems after my model year, they went to turbocharged 4-cylinder engines.  I feel like a turbocharger is one more thing that can go wrong, but I suppose a 4-cylinder could get better fuel economy.
