Yeah, it doesn't make much sense at all. Especially with the likes of Sinema and Manchin focused solely on their future career prospects. Not that I'm completely opposed to gridlock... I think it's a point in time where getting nothing done won't fly and smaller single-issue bills will be the only way to get anything through in the end. I'm pretty Libertarian, so not much in favor of most things, but being pragmatic, I don't want to see more divisive escalation, as the gridlock exceeds all expectations and beyond this, the elites and lobbyists are still getting what they want. -- Michael J.
