I remember a co-worker who had been an alcoholic.  He told us "Alcoholics don't
drink to become drunk.  They drink to become normal."

Lefties are similar.  They don't get angry because there's something to be
truely angry about. They become angry to become normal.

To the Left, their Narrative is their reality.  Unfortunately, Reality refuses
to cooperate with their Narrative and, so, they keep getting smacked down by
Reality.  Hence their "always on" anger at someone/something.
