Definitely.

It's also like to see a general term limit law that says that a person cannot
hold public office for more than 10 years overall.  i.e. no being a State
senator for 10, then being a Federal senator for another 20, etc.

10 years of public service, then they have to go get a job where they actually
have to perform to keep it.
