mystic -cfg > Configuration > Message Base Settings > Default Origin

... and if that's already set, maybe it only uses that for FTN, rather than QWKNet links. Then set it manually for each QWKNet area:

mystic -cfg > Editors > Message Base Editors > <all dovenet areas> > Origin
