Ebay is engineered in such a way that it is only profitable to sell there if
you have a HIGH turnover of articles. If you do, you can make decent money.

If you want to make a casual sale, you are screwed.

Ebay has no real competition at this point. Every other auction site I have
checked is a wasteland compared to Ebay.
