i believe this person does their own thing and isnt part of 'the synchronet
team'.

i might be wrong though.

the only thing i would say about using cheap vps is they can suck.
i've used a lot and i've got a lot of experience with this.

i've done it with disreputable people and i've done it with well known
services. 

when you dont spend much you dont get much. that's just how it is.
it's best to get some buddies and throw some money in and use a decent budget
server together. 

like i have proxmox and i can give people vms to use.
