It's quite an amazing piece of J> hardware imo and I run my BBS on it too! The Apolllo guys leave a bad tastes in my mouth, so wont ever purchase any of there products. J> True, taxes and import fees kill ya that's for sure. For me, there were J> no import fees, there was a tax to pay on the converted amount to J> Canadian funds. The exchange from Euros is what I initially was J> concerned about. Try living in Australia!. The echange rate/postage/insurance is what kills it for us... I just purchased some of the "Amiga Universal Mechanical Keyboard" (The keyboard part, without the controller or Enclosure), and "USB Mouse/Joypad Adapter" from Amiga store in Spain. The total came to $412AUD. If i'd added the Universal Controller and Enclosure, it would have added another $375AUD to the price... (Luckly I have a Amiga 2000 keyboard with case that is faulty, so only need the inside bits.) J> In the end I said screw it and bought it. The best buy I've ever made I J> think for Amiga OH, I thought hard about if I should get the keyboard or not.... -- Stephen -- Rocking Amiganet with an Amiga 4000 and Zeus BBS. --- Zeus BBS 1.5 * Origin: -:-- Dragon's Lair --:- dragon.vk3heg.net Prt: 6800 (39:901/281.0) .
