Subj : Help w/ making distro

I'd love to hear about making a roll-your-own debian distro, but what I meant
was make a distro that modifies very little of Arch to the point that it uses
the same package manager connected to the same servers, but when syncing the
packages, does not attempt to update my distro as it would an Arch distro.
I'm thinking that that's not possible and it would have to be conencted to
different servers, but I just thought I'd ask :)
