I don't think my good friend Thelemtish's Tir Tairngire was ever up via telnet. It's all you, buddy! (Although, maybe there were others?)

It just occurred to me I never did clear up that situation to you after our email exchange a few months back. 

Short-ish version for everyone else's benefit: Thelemtish was one of the first non-local scene people I became friends with when we were both modding for Thought Surfers. He used to randomly call me and talk a bunch of shit about the group's leader, Storm Lord. His board was called Tir Tairngire, in the 412. We ended up being in a few different modding groups together, ending with him being an early member of Demonic. At some point, very early on, he disappears. I *think* he might have shown up again at some point using the nick "debaser" but I might be mixing him up with someone else. Anyway, some 2-3 years later, Jinx starts hanging around #demonic. At first, I wondered who this dude hanging out in my channel was, but he was cool and seemed to know a lot of the regulars and eventually became a regular op himself. When telnet finally truly broke, Jinx put up his BBS "Tir Tairngire" which was simultaneously both an "ah ha!" moment, and also totally confusing since Jinx didn't remind of Thelemtish, nor did he act like he'd known me for as long as Tish did, but you know, most of us were mid-late teens and people can sometimes change a lot at that age. Anyway, I finally confirmed that they are, in fact, not the same person like, 25 years later. LOL!

Fitting in a thread about Hawk, as he and I also had some pretty tenuous scene connections for many years despite being in the same circles, until he joined Zer0net and several art groups I was in and we eventually got to know each other a lot better.
