Backgammon.  Started playing backin the '80s when it was kind of a thing, especially in college.  I was backgammon champ for my fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega.

But there was a dark side.  My first semester I spent so much time playing, I neglected my studies and ended up on Academic Probation.  Not a great way to start your college career.
