The power difference and the fact that 64bit Linux distributions support it a 
lot better than RPi3s.

My current RPi3 doesn't seem to have enough power (sporadic at times?) to run 
plex-media-server. But as of right now it doesn't seem to be a issue worth 
addressing as the complaints in the house are few and far between. :)
