As much as I love the fact that you brought this discussion here, and I 
seriously hope someone can chime in and help you out with this, but..

You might be better off going straight to the source(s) on this one. 
Deuce would probably be the guy to talk to. He's usually pretty active 
on IRC (irc.synchro.net), and see what he thinks.

I think I turned on ANSI music once in my life, and that was all I 
needed to never do it again. :)
