It's probably not a bad idea for the network coordinators in the respective 
othernets to make a decision and remind everyone regarding web availability 
of echoes online - it's easy to miss, and easy to forget to check when you 
make changes to configurations.

Synchronet makes it pretty easy to restrict - anything that the guest user 
can see when logged in is what an unauthenticated user sees when browsing 
the web. I have mine set to allow local echoes as read-only and you have to 
log in to get to anything else.

I used to have a robots.txt file in place, but that's only using the honor 
system for crawlers.
