Subj : Mystic File Base vs File Group?

I'm new to Mystic, (am on v1.12 A39) but have run several other flavors of BBS
before. I think I need a high-level explanation of how Mystic uses File Bases
and Groups (Mainly Groups has me confused)

In Other boards you can make "Groups" or "Collections" Of "File Areas"
Like, for, instance a Simtel-20 "Group" with all the individual areas located
within, in a hierarchical directory.

If there's a printed instruction on theory of operation, I've yet to find it
(And I've been searching for 4 hours, apparently in all the wrong places..)

Do "Groups" even work like I'm thinking, or are they something else entirely?
If they do, how to you tell the file base which group it's in?

Any help would be appreciated, it's very frustrating not comprehending the
theory of operation of something you're trying to configure.
