i dont know if i should be using mis2 or not but it seems like its the only
way the telnet server stays up. with mis it just dies without errors.
downside is that
- events dont seem to run anymore
- country code based banlist doesnt work (i get hammered by telnet scans)

i configd my bbs to join spooknet/amiganet/retronet, tried posting but
nothing goes through. maybe its just me, or the message networks. 

also: while configuring the new message areas, the config tool lost the uplink
node address. had to reconfigure it to all the message areas. sometimes twice.

im thinking to revert back to the 1.11 i had.
