MIS2 I believe currently supports separate IP banning settings per server, 
which MIS does not (when an IP is banned, it bans on all servers). I believe it 
also has IPv6 support and some other things.

From what I remember, MIS will eventually be phased out, and MIS2 will replace 
it. So it's probably better off switching to it anyways.
