I agree for the most part my community is pretty great! :)

I can promise you I got those people too at one time, and it sucks that you
have to deal with that on a more "full time" basis. They aren't bothering me at
the moment, but up until about a year ago or so they were around...

These are people who have no desire to use Mystic at all, just old time Fido
people being douches. Shitty e-mails, trying to cut off the MYSTIC echo across
the world, a small group who multiple times have tried to push for all Mystic
systems to be banned from FidoNet entirely.

I think of it as the FidoNet version of old men screaming "get off my lawn"

Not to say that Mystic didn't have its problems in the beginning, but none of
it was destroying the network or even close to it, and none of it justifies the
way some people behaved.

Anyway, these days Mystic is a pretty solid echomail hub and I think that is
why some people have calmed down.  The fsxNet hub has grown to over 120 active
links and its 100% powered by Mystic; most changes I make now are because
something in another piece of software is doing something wrong.

There are those of us out here who appreciate what you do and your positive
attitude.  I'm sure you don't hear it from us enough, but try to remember that
we are out here when douchebags get to you!  Easier said than done, I know. :)
