I'd love to see a Fidonet culling - get rid of any echoes that haven't
had postings in 3 years, and send a ping out to every board in the
nodelist. Don't respond to three pings? Take them out of the nodelist.

I'd hope that a Fidonet nodelist and echolist that accurately
reflected active nodes and message areas would feel like a different
place.
