I had my old BBS in the 90s on FidoNet for its last couple of years, and for a
little while I had an uplink who would get pissed at me when my BBS was busy
too much when his called mine or some such..  I switched back to another uplink
I had used before who was pretty cool about things.  I thought it was rather
silly.  My current BBS is on FidoNet, and I haven't really had issues with my
uplinks.  I don't read FidoNet much though..
