Operators of Othernets started their nets for a reason... a net of their own.

I admire your enthusiasm, but the hobby is dying. Most people that join nets 
these days to get node numbers do so, because they decided to fire up their 
old board or try some new stuff like Mystic and see what its like. Not many 
end up staying for the long haul. I've seen MANY come and go over the 
years. Its like its all about reliving the nostalgia but its a fleeting 
moment.
