Ok, so fuck Fido, but maybe everyone get together under a new title? It would
simplify the BBS experience a little.

I call Alco a lot, and the dude has all the nets, afaik, and probably most of
the echos. But all these nets & echos seem like a pile of shit though,
kinda..

Each net has it's own "General Messages" type thing, I think they all have
"BBS Discussion," "Ansi Geekly," etc...

So it's like I read Fidonet, and it's like "Sup old dudes?" Then I jump to
Dorenet & it's like "Sup Dream Master?" then I jump to Agoranet and I'm like
"Sup liberals?" 

But they all have about the same response: "Not much.."

We could largely replace all these nets with a net called something like
"BBSnet: The legacy lives on!"

Then, the people who still cling on to their dying networks will eventually
let them evaporate, and those who are into posting/replying messages will
prevail.

Do you need some acid to think like this? I probably had too much as a kid and
am now permanently fucked as a result. :(
