There's an actual fTelnet app for Android too, so you don't have to visit a
BBS's web site.

Not quite sure what you mean..  Many modern BBS software packages have a web
server, so with many BBSes that carry FidoNet, you can log into the BBS's web
site and read the FidoNet forums there.
