Seahorses
Green seahorses
Singular swimmers
You populated
My winter dreams

I much prefer
Pegasus! Unicorn!
To the grey ivory louse
Which trots peacefully

A passerby runs away
Far from the streetlamp
Under which is buried
The hopeless dead
