        =====
       I run DOS in a PC emulator.  I avoid networking because of instabil
       [1] and overhead.  Instead, i use sneakernet.  FreeDOS has good
       documentation on how to mount VirtualBox disk images in Linux, Mac,
       and Windows [2].
