Kludges are written by the software you use and are usually unseen by the reader. It takes a special keystroke combination such as Alt-V, as used in GoldEd, to see them. i.e. if you can read mine or Paul Quinn's kludges, you will see; "TID: FastEcho 1.46.1 15059" (Paul's) Mine would be the same, except the 15059 would be the number assigned to my registered copy of FE.
