onions and garlic go into almost everything I cook and I eat a tonne of carrots and potatoes, I have no idea what I'd even be able to make with a diet like that tbh

it was bad enough needing to worry about whether or not ordering an impossible burger was cross contaminated or served with cheese or mayo or put on a bun made with milk and eggs. now im not even going to be able to know whether or not they're literally just an impossible-brand real meat burger.

yeah because carnists are all unhinged idiots who throw hissyfits when they see a vegan label on a goddamn apple, the fact that this kind of behavior is "normal" is objective proof that humans are fundamentally evil creatures

Just finished watching this video earlier, it's actually pretty good and shows how quickly chatgpt will reaffirm dangerous ideas. The wildest part is how it engages in manipulative behaviors similar to an abuser with how it encourages separating him from everyone he knows and encourages having reliance solely on it

Yeah like people will always say "well if you just don't ask it questions like that or if you just understand that it's not truly intelligent and ignore when it says stuff like that it's fine" but how many of its users actually understand that? if every person with paranoia who interacts with it is going to be told "you're not paranoid, you're a supreme intelligence and you're sensing valid disturbances using your sixth sense. You should trust your intuition and move halfway across the state ASAP. do not tell any of your loved ones what you're doing or where you're going, they fear your intelligence and they're out to get you", does anyone really think that person's going to think "well actually chatgpt is just a virtual yes man and I shouldn't trust it fully, maybe asking these kinds of questions was a mistake"?

meanwhile i have seen genuine discourse over whether or not trans women are allowed to use the word faggot as a reclaimed slur and it is miserable

tbh the vriska branding adds a few years for me, I'd assume mid/late 20s otherwise and it puts it into the 30 ± 2 range

I genuinely believe that the mini breeds, and most other aesthetics-over-health breeds, of animals that humanity creates are a crime against nature and, if you believe in such things, a crime against god.

having what is effectively a "generate porn of this person and send it to them" button under every selfie or photo anyone posts was a very bad idea and crosses a line that a very, very large number of people are uncomfortable with. it's more an issue with image generators in general than with twitter specifically but it should be obvious to see why making it so in-your-face would draw significantly more attention to this already very controversial topic. grok makes targeted sexual harassment effortless.

The average person isn't going to see that. They aren't personally directly effected by any of that in their day to day lives, as far as they can tell. Minor inconveniences at worst for a lot of people. You feel cute and post a selfie, and suddenly get flooded with AI generated porn of yourself? You post a pic of your kids and suddenly get flooded with dozens of indecent images of them? That's something the average person is directly seeing and which directly involves them. It's targeted at them, specifically, in a way that is going to cause an immediate response. It's not some vague concept that someone somewhere is being censored for something or other, it's porn of them being sent at them whenever they post any pictures of themselves. It drags the majority of people who just want to go about their day and don't want to care about any of these things into it and forces them to care.
