       Taught the kid to shoot a bb gun for the first time yesterday. Started really apprehensive, and was not a fan of the it for the first 3 shots (misses), but the fourth shot was only a half inch from the bullseye and the hook was set.Stayed out for another 45 min, then another 40 min today.Teach your kids to shoot.

       @Richard @thisisthebreath those double paint targets will run you a fortune in the long run if your kid really gets into shooting. Might want to consider a cheap black and white laser printer to print your own. Then you just need to whip up a frame of sort and they'll cost you less than pellets in bulk. Just a thought ;)

       @Richard @thisisthebreath I was learning to shoot a pellet gun on something like that. 10cm or 4-ish inch diameter. Was more than adequate ;)

But if your kid's going trough, like half a pound of lead a day like I was back in the day, it's kinda nice to have something that catches all that lead. Not to mention that if you're using stacks of old newspapers as the backstop, you gotta do something with all that shredded paper afterwards anyway ;)

       @Richard @amerika @thisisthebreath oh they make BB's out of just about anything these days. Here in Italy you can get them in plastic, lead, copper or steel.Only airsoft is limited to plastic, but that's just toys with no accuracy whatsoever

When I was a kid, I really wanted a BB CO2 powered Walter PPS replica, but crack then they were only making steel BBs, and my father was, like, no way, boy, steel bounces and I'm not buying you an eye patch. Shoot stuff with lead like everyone else! 🤣

If that kind of stuff was on the market when I was a kid, I'd prolly spend most of my childhood in some sort of government detention, that's fosho.And kids these days say they have it tough.....        @ThatCrazyDude @Richard @thisisthebreath It was a rite of passage to get a Red Ryder style spring gun here, then a real BB gun, then a BB/pellet gun. I dunno if kids can appreciate it now since they are confined to the basement or garage or whatever.
