One crisis to rule them all

For years we are facing a triple planetary crisis:
climate change, pollution and biodiversity loss.

Now the oil shortage injects extra pressure, not only affecting
energy production, freight, and travel, but it also creating
a new crisis on its own: a production crisis.

The machinery needs energy to run, and petrochemicals are
needed to produce plastics, artificial fibers like nylon,
and packaging.

This affects almost everything, from the creation of many
disposable items, fertilizers, vacuum seal bags, trash bags,
and packaging of beer, potato chips, cosmetics, toys, footwear,
and also medical equipment.

Not only the lack of oil causes major problems, the
production of semiconductors is suffering from a shortage
of helium.

The production crisis is spreading fast and wide.

Economic slowdown caused by soaring prices all across the
board, and multiple shortages at once. Next to economic
effects it also causes suffering and hardship. For examples
shortage of medical disposables like tubes and gloves, and
foods that can't be packaged and transported, it affects us
all.
