       The sun is out and most of the daylight hours is going gone.  It 
       makes me sad, but what can I do.  I woke up at noon and did not make 
       it to church.  Oh well, I guess I needed the rest more.  I do feel
       well rested but a little out of sorts since I am not used to getting
       that much rest.
       
       Last night I was sucked into a modern phone video game, which I am
       not used to playing.  I have either been playing older, offline, 
       single player, PC games or retro games, if I do even play at all.  
       And that is on dedicated hardware,not on a mobile phone.  Since I 
       picked up a new phone with decent specs and a bigger screen, I 
       decided to see where it's at with mobile gaming.
       
       The game I played was Dawn of Zombies: Survival.  I loaded it up and 
       was surprised how much space it took.  I think it took over a gig. 
       
       Eh, I don't really feel like writing about that anymore.
       
       In summary, new games are very resource intensive, they farm your 
       data, are built to take all your times and monies and keep you
       playing.  Just don't do it!
       
       If you do do it (I said do do), make sure you flex your tinfoil hat
       and lock your sh!t down.  
       
       Some thoughts if I do do:
       
       Play on a separate dedicated device that is not my personal device. 
       (burner gaming device, LOLZ)
       Use burner gaming/Google account
       Play behind a separate firewall and an ad blocker.
       If that is not feasible, install firewall/ad block sofware.
        - (RethinkDNS, AFWall+, NetGuard, TrackerControl, etc.)
       If mobile, bring your own portable firewall and ad blocker.
        - (i.e. Portable battery-powered Pi-Hole appliance} 
        - Gaming device needs to be behind appliance and the gateway, 
          hotspot, wifi, etc.
       Play with game on its own parition (work profiles, shelter, island)
       Play the game in a sandbox.
       Play the game in an emulator.
       Practice coming clean and resetting the factories.
       
       These thoughts can also apply to apps as well.  Now that I think 
       about it, I might have m0ar phun setting something up like this and
       analyzing the data than actually playing the games themselves.  Alas,
       that is an exercise for people with m0ar disposible times and monies
       (hint: not me at this time.)  Time to reset the factories.
