       I just finished part 1 of The Get Down over on the streaming service.
       It's a series made in 2017 about urban youth in the Bronx in the 
       1970's and early hip hop and disco culture.  I am enjoying it so far 
       and really dig the soundtrack and the visuals. Too bad it only lasted 
       1 season/11 episodes.
       
       Watching the series inspired me to play the set list I put together
       for my friend, Kuya Chi's 2019 birthday party, which was held at a 
       dance studio.  Most of the songs are disco classics since that was 
       the soundtrack during his heyday.
       
       SDF user, christyotwisty has phosted her 5 Questions for January[1] 
       and I will answer them now:
       
       COT: 1. What are you grateful for from 2022?
       
       xiled: Gainful employment after losing my job of 17 year during the 
              pandemic and being unemployed for 15 months afterward.
       
       COT: 2. Has the internet changed the way you think?
       
       xiled: The Internet is a conduit that has facilitated a change in 
              my thinking.  The people, the interactions, the happenings,
              the global connections, good, bad, indifferent, all of it has
              influenced/changed my thinking.  I just need to keep applying
              pressure to the brakes to keep me from being ejected from the 
              vehicle on this here Information Superhighway.
              Then again, I am unsure how I would be thinking right now 
              if there was no Internet.  I'd definitely be m0ar ignorant 
              about worldly and global things.  Maybe I'd be playing 
              checkers, getting enough sleep, connecting m0ar in 
              meatspace.
       
       COT: 3. What do you believe is true though you cannot prove it?
       
       xiled: They are watching me, but I cannot talk about that.  Next 
              question, please.
       
       COT: 4. What have you changed your mind about and why? If possible, 
               use an example from 2022.
       
       xiled: I have changed my mind about my capacity to be of service to 
              the people and community in my life.  Previously, I used to 
              think and have been told that I was basically useless.  I 
              have since been shown otherwise, forgiven them, as well as 
              myself for believing in what they said.  
              This past year, I was elected into a position to serve at a 
              greater capacity than I ever thought possible for myself.  
              There have been fear-based challenges that I have been able 
              to overcome with the help of others.  There are still moments 
              of uncertainty and doubt, but I am confident that I have not 
              been brought this far to fail.  The path has been presented 
              and I follow unalone. 
       
       COT: 5. What would you like to return to?
       
       xiled: A return to better physical health?  This vessel is not 
              gonna last.
       
       COT: BONUS QUESTION: 3 "Things to Love in Life"
       
       xiled: 1. Showing up.
              2. Being present.
              3. Integrity.
