Waiting for food after waiting for a table for an hour at the Cracker
Barrel in Rialto. For me it's worth it. For my fam, not so much.
There aren't many Cracker Barrels around here so I enjoy when I can.
I got the "old-timer's" breafast. Eggs, sausage, fried apples,
biscuits 'n gravy, grits with a side of apple butter, and a mug 'o
coffee to wash it all down. Good thing I did some walking while
waiting for the table.
We're heading out to Palm Springs for a few days for a post-holiday
getaway with no inlaws, now outlaws, nobody else. Just us! It's
been awhile since we've done one of these road trips with just the
immediate family. This is the first road trip where my son is
driving the entire time! So far, he's doing well. Maybe I will even
show him how to operate the cruise control!
Time to eat!
