       It's xmas eve, my shopping is done, not really in the mood for the
       xmas party I'm going to this evening.  Would rather stay home and
       play, but that's just me being selfish.  I'll let this one go.
       
       One thing I love about the season is the chance for downtime.  It's
       usually the time when I tinker with stuff/play with toys.  This year
       it's mostly upgrading, repurposing, or discarding old hardware.
       
       Since I have been dealing with installing stuff, I figured that I 
       would continue with this before I lose momentum and the opportunity
       to work on things uninterrupted.  So far, I am thinking of rebuilding
       the family Pi NAS and flashing custom firmware on some old devices.
       
       Other than that, it's also important that I take some time to clean
       house for the new year.  I have a feeling that 2022 will be better
       than the past couple years so I think that the act of cleaning
       house will help me put forth action towards bring in the new year on 
       a positive note.
