       Score! I was helping out a friend of mine vacate his office since his 
       business has gone totally remote and he gifted me with some old 
       computers and hardware (thx Matt!)  I keep acquiring other people's 
       discarded computers to repurpose...prolly because that's just what I 
       do and have the means.  Some of them still fairly recent.  These will 
       be upgrades for my existing servers at home and then some.
       
       Lately, I've been busy with getting more of my computer stuff 
       organized and shifting things around.  I can't believe how much stuff 
       I have acquired over the years.  I have a mess of cables I have been 
       sorting through and organizing into separate bins, complete with lids 
       and labels.  Same with the accessories and various peripherals.  For 
       some reason, I seem to keep most things, even the old or broken stuff 
       because I seem to keep finding ways to repurpose stuff.  
       
       There has been much going on in the world that I have not been paying
       attention to.  I haven't really felt like looking into it and even if 
       I did, I feel that it might cause some unnecessary worry and reduce 
       my effectiveness to my family and those around me.  I pretty much 
       just find out enough, do with it what I can, and discard the rest.
       
       I have not been doing much public writing either.  There is a lot of 
       noise out there and I figured that now is not the time for me to add 
       to it. So I have been doing what I can to lay low, keep safe, and be 
       available to help others.  Now is not the time to be part of the 
       problem.
       
       I do try to keep current with reading up on the gopher holes I 
       usually visit, though I don't comment much or provide feedback.  I do 
       read quite a bit.  There seems to be less regular content than before 
       and I have not been contributing much.  Sometimes I visit geminispace 
       to see what is out there, but my visits are not as frequent or 
       consistent and I lose the continuity.  Same with mastodon and 
       pixelfed.  Right now, I guess I don't really know where to put myself 
       and just end up doing other things that are not online or social.  
       Mostly stuff like domestic chores or going on long walks in the woods 
       or playing my guitar or whatever during my spare time.  I do pop in 
       every now and then in COM or IRC during certain radio shows, but even 
       that has been inconsistent.  I guess I feel more comfort doing stuff 
       offline lately.  So if any of you's been wondering, I'm still here,
       just quiet for now.
