       Even though I am tired, I cannot sleep.  I'm on call again 
       until Wednesday and just had to put out a fire.  My 
       physiological state is deteriorating and tomorrow is 
       probably going to suck, but at least I don't have to go 
       anywhere.   I should try to get some rest again soon.

       I just put another coat of cyanoacrylate (a.k.a. super glue) 
       on a minor cut from earlier.  I sliced my finger open with 
       one of my knives while opening a box.  I usually keep my 
       knives pretty sharp, but I was careless with opening the box 
       and the blade slipped.  Unfortunately, it is on my left 
       middle finger, close to where the finger hits the strings 
       when I play my guitar.  I tried playing earlier, but it was 
       too close to the wound so I put on some CA glue over the 
       wound.  It worked out just fine, but started to crack and 
       come off after about an hour of practice so I added some 
       more so I can practice more later.  A neat little first 
       aid trick I remembered from awhile ago.  The CA glue trick 
       works with paper cuts or other small annoying cuts as well.
       
       Another first aid trick: you can use honey as an antiseptic 
       and to heal minor burns and wounds.
