The first conference ICCE 93 was held in Taipei, Taiwan during 15-17 December 1993. ICCE 95 is the second in the series of meetings and will be organized under the umbrella of the AACE Asia-Pacific Chapter which was formed after ICCE 93. ICCE 95 will focus on a broad spectrum of inter-disciplinary research topics concerned with theories, technologies and practices of applying computers in education. It aims to provide a forum for scientific interchange among educators, cognitive scientists, computer scientists, and practitioners throughout the world, and especially from the Asia- Pacific region. The conference will be concerned with the current state of the art, and will serve as a reference basis for future research as well as the real- world deployment of educational technologies. There will be tutorials and invited talks, and demonstrations of working systems, prototypes and selected commercial products. ICCE 95 is supported by a strong international program committee that ensures full refereeing of all submitted papers. A unique feature of ICCE 95 is an Applications Track in which solicits papers from Singapore and other Asia-Pacific countries that present the best practices in the use of information technology for education. We invite you to attend the ICCE 95 conference and submit proposals for papers and demonstrations. All proposals are reviewed for inclusion in the conference program. PROCEEDINGS ----------- Accepted papers will be published by AACE in the conference Proceedings. This book serves as a major source book in the educational technology community, indicating the current state of the art in the discipline, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region. In addition, selected papers may be invited for publication in the various journals of AACE. EXHIBITION ---------- Exhibits are expected to be an integral part of the conference. Companies or institutions offering computers in education products are invited to complete and return the Request for Information form below. ------------------- TECHNICAL PROGRAMME ------------------- PAPERS ------ Papers should identify one of the above tracks, the topic/subtopic it belongs to, and a list of keywords. Papers will be evaluated by an international programme committee on the basis of originality, correctness, clarity and significance of results. Papers should not exceed 5000 words in length. The cover page should include the following information: Authors' names mailing address, telephone and fax numbers, email address, area/subarea of paper, and an abstract of about 200 words.
