Research Committee for ISTE (International Society for Technology in Education) MD Roblyer, Florida A&M University Bernard R Robin, University of Houston Richard Alan Smith, Houston Independent School District At the 1994 National Educational Computing Conference in Boston the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) conducted a panel presentation titled, "Toward A Research Agenda In Educational Technology." The panel noted several directions that research might take. This year, we would like to extend that work by reaching out to the educational technology-using community for addtional opinions and comments. Accordingly, we are requesting your help in getting responses to a survey which incorporates the preliminary research recommendations of the ISTE panel. Of course, we would like you to respond to the survey, but it would be a great help if you would also encourage your colleagues in educational technology and/or your graduate educational technology students to respond to the survey as well. Please forward them a copy of the survey or note one of the gopher locations where the suvey may be downloaded. The survey may be found on-line at the following locations: THE TEACHER EDUCATION INTERNET SERVER (TEIS) gopher or telnet to: teach.virginia.edu The path to get to the survey is: Teacher Education Information Server (TEIS) Research ISTE Research Committee 1995 Initiatives THE ISTE GOPHER The path within the Gopher is: 2.
