Region IV Activities

The Educational Consortium in Region IV, which includes eighteen members, 
met at the lead school, the University of Northern Iowa, on February 20-
22, 1992.  More than thirty participants were in attendance from across 
the region, which covers most of the great plains and upper middle west 
from Colorado and Wyoming on the west to Wisconsin, Iowa and Missouri on 
the east.  The three day meeting was a combination of informative 
conference presentations featuring multimedia and individual institution 
presentations, and sessions designed to focus and organize the 
consortium's further collaboration.

A concept paper examining models of effective multimedia development by 
university faculty was one product of the conference.
