EduQuest News During the summer, EduQuest worked with the National Education Advisory Board, composed of our nine regional lead schools, on ways to significantly advance the use of technology in classrooms and sustain the progress made thus far through the IBM grants. One of the new developments this year is that EduQuest has contracted the Effective Technologies Group (ETG) to act as liaison with the National Education Advisory Board. ETG will work with teacher preparation programs on projects which help teachers use EduQuest courseware to enhance the learning experience in the classroom. Their efforts include designing and piloting workshops, generating support materials for projects, and assisting with multimedia applications. ETG is composed of Palmer Agnew, Anne Kellerman, and Jeanine Meyer. They are experienced in information technology, research, and education. They are also currently involved in teaching college courses in multimedia, computers and music, and telecommunications. Please contact them with your ideas and questions about effective ways to prepare teachers for innovative uses of technology in the classroom.
