11.6 Non-US Keyboard Layouts: Using Application Shortcut Keys

   Some non-US  keyboards  show two  characters  per alphabet  key  and three
   characters per alphanumeric  key. To type  the second  or third character,

   you must press and hold down CTRL+ALT or ALTGR before pressing the key. If
   you are using  such a keyboard  layout, do not  use keys that  show two or
   three characters as application shortcut keys.
